Did you enjoy the flavor text?
Absolutely. MegaPod can excellently write all these characters and people.
What would you have changed about the game?
Well, the cop being N2 onward did seem a little random, but eh. The game was great. Selecting your own character is a really good feature.
Are you looking forward to playing more Mafia games hosted by me, MegaPod?
Looking forward? I can't wait!

This was a decent mafia game, if a bit short. I do hope we can get a bit more people in our next.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll just... uh... *makes a run for the portal while dodging thrown banhammers*

I think you did pretty well balance-wise with what you had, what killed this game was inexperience more than anything else the cop being n2 only is kinda pointless tbh, doesn't do that much for the mafia unless they get fairly lucky would agree that a vig is better in a larger game, it's a risky enough role to use already also, would definitely play in more games of yours~ Thanks for the feedback! Actually, one play that could have at least bought Town some more time was if Darth chose to emulate the Witch Doctor on D2, then saved the next kill target, though that itself would be up to chance.

I'm really glad you like the FT. ^_^ And perhaps the CYC concept will make a comeback sometime. As for the role variations, expect them to get quirkier, but I'll try not to nerf anything into total uselessness again...outside of a bastard context, anyways.

What i find funny is Zexy used lightning rod to draw the kill to him when he was our kill target anyway. I had planning to try to frame darth and get him mislynched.
I’ll comment on the rest later

Congrats Arcanine and Drift You both played really well, inactivity and inexperience cost town too, I wasn't particularly suspicious of Arcanine during the game. How was the setup?
The setup was good and seemed pretty balanced for a small game. Did you enjoy the flavor text?Yes the flavour text was fun to follow and the character interactions were interesting and fun to read What would you have changed about the game?I would have pushed harder for lynching Drift on Day 2, I wasn't sure of Max at the time and I felt Drift was the batter lynch option but I didn't think I could convince anyone and just accepted the Max vote. Are you looking forward to playing more Mafia games hosted by me, MegaPod?Yes, this game was fun and had great flavour text, looking forward to playing some of your future games

Congrats to the scum and thanks to MP for hosting!
The setup was more creative than I'd expect from an 8p, kudos! I agree that N2 onward is very bad for Cop though. 1x Vigilante would indeed be nice, it doesn't really accelerate town's loss, it gives an out from the MILO 6-2 may force into a more manageable LYLO, essentially giving town one more attempt to catch scum.
I might play in more of your games, although I'm not playing much anymore...
For the record I did use my rod, I believe it's always good to use it n1, lets everyone see what roles are around; if there's a town watcher they get tons of info immediately, if there would be another protection after Witch Doctor I could've survived, I could've got copchecked if the Cop wasn't N2 onward, even if I get killed (which I did) it's wasted on a kinda bad one-shot role instead of some other power role...
What I think killed this game is lack of claiming, the setup was too creative and should've been massclaim-oriented especially with how easily it got to MILO.

Epilogue - Restoring Chaos to the Realm
Maniacal Engineer floats through the dreary, barren void of banspace, where he finds a congregation of the other Team Chaos members and outsiders who were banned over the course of the day. Doctor Floptopus tends to Rainbow Cloud's gunshot wound, and DarthWolf restores Zoroark to health using his last waffle. "I can't believe this could happen to Team Chaos," ME mutters. "I still can't believe Rainbow Cloud banned me," a distressed Cilantro complains. "Sorry about that..." grunts the pained Team Boss as he strains to sit up, one leg now wrapped in gauze. "Eh, I guess I'm sorry too, for not telling all of you the whole story with me and MegaPod sooner," Cilantro responds. "How are we supposed to get out of here, anyways?" "Well, I was working on something that might be a solution," ME chimed in. "A remote control device for the Chaos Portal. Sadly, I haven't yet enabled it to send signals between dimensions, and I doubt I can find what I need in order to do that in this gray wasteland..." "Interdimensional signals? That's easy s***!" beamed Cilantro as he pulled a shiny, round object from his pocket: a crystal ball. "Um...are you sure this will work?" asked the befuddled engineer. "This approach hardly seems scientific." "Trust me," says the witchy user. Cilantro rubs the crystal ball, and he and ME peer inside it as an image of Team Chaos manifests within. "It appears that they rigged the portal generator with an alarm that will trigger as soon as it's breached," Engie notes. "If we can really open the portal from here, we'll have one shot to reenter and take back the forum." "Sounds like we need a game plan!" exclaims a pumped up Rainbow Dash.
Kotohime and Sylveon find their blissful silence interrupted by the blaring of a shrill alarm. The two run to investigate the portal breach with banhammers in hand, and Kotohime is promptly knocked onto her back by Rainbow Dash emerging through the spacial rift with a Sonic Rainboom. Rainbow Cloud's banhammer slides out of the felled princess' hand and across the floor. Kotohime and Rainbow Dash both promptly scramble to try and reach it first. Meanwhile, Sunset Shimmer and Maniacal Engineer both confront Sylveon, who wildly swings ME's banhammer around, trying to hit them both but striking neither. It appears they are at an impasse until Kotohime dashes to Sylveon. "Give it to me," the princess orders Sylveon. "I can wield it better." The Sylveon obliges, passing the item on to his kimono-clad boss. However, "Kotohime" tosses the banhammer to ME, who catches it and holds it up proudly. "Game over, Sylveon," the Team Boss tells the Intertwining Pokémon. Zoroark drops his illusion as the real Kotohime is ushered on scene by a victorious Rainbow Dash. "Now what do we do with them?" asks Sunset Shimmer. "Just like with you, we'll send them both home," Rainbow Cloud answers as Doc Flop helps him amble out of banspace.
After Sylveon and Zoroark are returned to the Pokémon world, ME prepares the Chaos Portal to send Kotohime back to the Touhou universe. As ME is about to push the woman through, Rainbow Cloud asks the princess "Just one question: why did you kill MegaPod?" "What? I didn't kill that boy," Kotohime responds, looking befuddled. "I was sure it was one of you." "Yeeeaaahhhh, about that..." Cilantro cuts in. "You guys never let me finish. MegaPod planned it himself for his big murder mystery dinner party." "What??" Rainbow Cloud exclaims in disbelief. "Actually, you can ask him yourself once I bring him back from the dead. I fully intended on doing that anyways, and I guess I should resurrect Zexy too, huh?"
Once every fictional character was sent back through the portal, the users of Team Chaos gathered in Cilantro's hut. MegaPod and Zexy's bodies were slumped in the middle of a pentagram sprinkled onto the floor with dried herbs and surrounded by lit candles. "The ritual requires that I perform an ancient melody, followed by a magical chant," Cilantro explains. Dressed in a purple witch robe, Cilantro lifts a trumpet to his lips and lets out a loud ♪Doooot♪ before shouting "WAKE UP!" to the pair of dead bodies. Everyone watches in awe as the two corpses are briefly bathed in spooky red flames, filling the whole hut with a crimson glow. The fire fades, and MegaPod and Zexy stand before the crowd alive and well. "Gah, I think I slept weird," MegaPod groans, rubbing his neck. "So, how was the murder mystery, everybody? I hope you enjoyed the whole multidimensional spin I put on it!" "Wait, you knew that those portals would open all along?" Max1996 asks blankly. "Yep! It was quite tedious, but I meticulously planted subliminal psychological cues throughout my entire dinner party to ensure it happened the way I wanted," MegaPod boasts. I planned Zexy offering to reconfigure the portal generator, as well as ME insulting his competence just enough for Zexy to mess up at exactly the right moment and cause the anomaly!" "...that sounds extremely unlikely," Maniacal Engineer comments. "Oh, but it's true," Cilantro says with a nod. "Actually, I was supposed to coordinate the whole murder mystery solving thing, but then you guys went and screwed that part of the plan up by banning me, and nearly lost the forum to that deranged kimono chick, too." "Oh, then maybe you should've planted more psychological cues," ME says with a smirk, "like not dragging off the victim's body without saying a word?" Cilantro just chuckles awkwardly in response. "Well, as much as this conversation amuses ME, I think WE had better get this forum back in shape. C'mon, Zexy," Maniacal Engineer beckons. The Wannabe Engineer responds by repeatedly bumping into a wall as he mumbles gibberish. "Um, Zexy?" "It looks like he was brought back as a zombie," DarthWolf comments. "Uh-oh," Cilantro interjects. "Probably because the resurrection spell was prepared in advance to only account for one revival. He must not be brought back all the way!" "You think so?" asks Drift as Zexy chomps into his neck, zombifying him. "Another zombie apocalypse?" ME groans. "Things really are back to normal around here." "Time to break out the ol' journal," I remark. As everyone pours out of the hut, Rainbow Cloud can only hobble away weakly before succumbing to the zombies himself. "Hey MegaPod?" ME asks the Administrator as he runs. "Yes?" Pod replies to the Team Boss as he hops away from the zombies in a potato sack. "Don't ever host a dinner party for ME again."

Well, that should do it for the flavor text for this game! This thread will be archived soon, but before then, I have an announcement. There's already a second Mafia game for Team Chaos in the works, and it will be jointly hosted by myself and The Light. So, stick around TC's Forum Games if you're interested in joining it!
