it's stage in Pokemon Snap gave me my username I never knew that! Yeah the Rainbow Cloud was the final area in the original Pokemon Snap on the N64 where the last challenge in the game was to try to take a photograph of Mew ) (This was the best one I managed to take of Mew I'm thankful for Swampert, my starter pokemon in Ruby who was one of the main pokemon in my battling teams back in the Gen 3 and Gen 4 days and the oldest pokemon I still have (now transferred to gen 8)

I'm thankful for Kangaskhan. What a great Gen 1 Pokémon. She's a badass. (Seems a common theme for me) Also her Mega Evolution is P. much the only one I have time for. Anyway, she's worth the awful Safari Zone experience. Also her Gen 3 backsprite is the CUTEST THING. (Actually it's P. much the same in Gen 2) Oh, and Kangaskhan is of course super important in Mystery Dungeon!

I'm thankful for Butterfree as it's my favourite Bug type pokemon and part of my favourite Bug type evolution line, it's also very helpful when battling Brock in the Kanto games when you chose Charmander

I'm thankful for Walrein. What a great WALL it is! And it represents cold seas. I'm about that! It was the first 'mon I knew could know Sheer Cold too, one of my fave moves. Huge respect. Always.

I'm thankful Shaymin, my second favourite mythical after Mew and the pokemon that represents gratitude, both it's forms are super cute and awesome and the Shaymin in the 11th movie was cool

I'm thankful for Keldeo. Perfectly fits the trope of "Badass Adorable" Its Secret Sword and incredible Speed has often been VERY helpful to me. I love its lore; that it's raised by the three Swords of Justice - and it's essentially d'Artagnan to the Three Musketeers. I love its movie (although I've only seen it in Japanese). I have a Japanese talking Keldeo plush . To me, Keldeo represents never giving up. That resolve to keep going. Do what you must!! The time at which it became a fave, well, I truly think it DID help me!

(But can't you actually get Ho-Oh in Colo if you purify every shadow Pokémon?? Or did I misunderstand something I read??) I'm thankful for Flygon. It has such a great vibe to it, I dunno, there was something mysterious about it initally I guess, 'cause I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA it was Trapinch's final form. In the earliest days I thought it was Bagon and Shelgon's evolution because of the 'gon' part!! I kind of feel it'd be very at home in the WA interior, and that's always drawn me to it as well. It's the original Ground/Dragon... and the best.

(But can't you actually get Ho-Oh in Colo if you purify every shadow Pokémon?? Or did I misunderstand something I read??) There is a way to get Ho-Oh in Colosseum but not directly in Story Mode, you have to catch and purify all the shadow pokemon in Story Mode then defeat the Colosseum mode version of Mt. Battle starting from Area 1 using a team from Story Mode. After doing this Ho-Oh will be in your PC when you next play story mode. I've never really attempted this though. I'm thankful for Umbreon, my favourite eeveelution and one of my 3 favourite pokemon overall, it has a great design and was the eeveelution my first Eevee evolved into back in Gold

I'm thankful for Rampardos. What a BEAST! I just love it. What it lacks in intelligence it more than makes up for with destructive force! I hugely enjoy Head Smashing things into oblivion. I was late to the party in appreciating Rampardos' greatness, it only 'rose to prominence' in my... sprawling faves list in 2019. But it's now had a lasting impact.

I'm thankful for Lugia, the Beast of the Sea, although Ho-Oh was the version mascot of my first game, Lugia's my favourite of the Tower Duo, it has a fantastic design and was awesome in the 2nd movie, Lugia's theme from The Power of One is one of my favourite songs from the Pokemon movies

I'm thankful for Hippowdon. Another quintessential desert 'mon. I love how it exudes sand. It's always been instrumental in the final gym in Sinnoh (and I'm sure when I finally get around to it in BD, it'll be no exception). And I can picture it living in dry creek beds here.

I’m thankful for Luxray, one of my favourite electric types one of the pokemon on both my Shining Pearl and original Pearl teams. Luxray kind of only ended up on my team by chance the first time I played Pearl as it was one of the first pokemon I caught but it was pretty much the pokemon that played the main part in Gym Battles, defeating Team Galactic and the Pokemon League the first time I played the Sinnoh games
